I've worked in financial services for over two decades, and the biggest lesson I've learned is that numbers alone don't tell the full story. People don't make decisions based purely on logic or spreadsheets. Emotions, biases, and life circumstances shape every choice. That's why I pursued my Behavioral Financial Advisor™ designation. Understanding how people think about money is just as critical as understanding the mechanics of it.

My foundation is in accounting and business strategy. I studied accounting at Carthage College and earned my MBA from the University of Connecticut. From there, I built a practice focused on helping people through major financial transitions, particularly retirement and divorce. These aren't simple moments. They require precision, empathy, and a plan that accounts for both the technical and emotional complexity involved.

I hold several professional designations that reflect the scope of my work. I'm a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Retirement Income Certified Professional®, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. I also carry FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations and maintain Life and Health Insurance licenses in California, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, and New Hampshire.

The credentials exist because this work demands rigor. But what drives me is watching someone move from overwhelmed to clear. Helping them make decisions they've never faced before with confidence instead of dread. Building a plan they can trust so they can stop second-guessing and start living.

I live in Boulder, Colorado. The mountains are a daily reminder that perspective matters, both in life and in how we think about long-term planning.

“One of the things I hear most often from the people we work with is how valuable it feels to finally have everything organized — in other words, to have a clear plan.”
